Maybellene, 1959 Auckland Caravan Company, 10′

  • Make: Auckland Caravan Company
  • Model: 10'
  • Year: 1959

One of a kind, Maybellene has been my heart project, but I’m now reluctantly offering her for sale.
Stunning on the outside, she has been styled by retro caravan maestro Mike Wells, and coloured to match my 2004 Dubbie convertible (Orange, although close enough to red to match a red car too)
Her interior is styled part as car (seating end) and part as an old shed, with a hint of route 66 theming to do Chuck Berry proud!
Storage is really good, with plenty of accessible room under the seats, which convert into a very comfortable queen sized bed. Clothes go in the petrol browser, and everything else fits in or on the cabinet. No kitchen as such, its easy to set one up if desired. I just haven’t needed to.
Featured in the recent Don & Marilyn Jesson retro caravan book, Maybellene is a real head turner. Come dowb and view her, maybe she will turn yours too!
